Training and Development Manager

Candidates must have experience within the Coffee Shop industry, perhaps someone that is currently working as a Manager within a coffee shop and looking for their next step.

To manage and lead the training function by developing the training strategy and programmes and delivering training workshops to all stakeholders within the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Determine training needs and requirements within the business and ensure that every member of their team is trained to brand standard
- Create training programmes†
- Act as the go to within the business for any queries regarding training and development plans
- Work closely with all Franchisees to understand training requirements and collect information from sites to help troubleshoot any issues
- Have an awareness of the allocated budget for training and ability to work with it
- Constantly review existing training materials, workshops and manuals to ensure effectiveness and come up with training and coaching ideas to improve standards on sites
- Manage the training function from bookings onto workshops to delivering and then follow up if the need arises
- Make sure that training records on sites are up to date
- Conduct site assessments and organise events
- Support any new sites` openings by training the team and supporting them
- Organising training sessions for promotional campaigns
- Putting content together for the quarterly newsletter to motivate and engage the team
